Old Time Fiddle and Music Jamboree

Sat, 21 Sept 2013, 1:00 to 10:00 p.m.

This annual Jamboree is hosted by the Coombs Old Time Fiddlers to showcase many of the wonderful Fiddlers and complementary musicians who live in or visit Oceanside at the nicest time of year. This year the Jamboree and the Coombs Country Opera are combining on Friday evening, September 20 and Saturday, September 21 to provide a great weekend of Old Time Music

The afternoon Open Stage offers artists an opportunity to sign up and demonstrate their talents on instruments and vocals. This is followed by a Featured Performance by the Sarah Tradewell combo. Admission is $5.00, free for performers and children under 12

The evening format will take the form of an open Jam Session for all who wish to participate. There will also be space for those who want to dance to kick up their heels while the fiddles are playing

A nutritious old-time country style supper will be available and there will be door prizes to make the evening memorable. There is dry camping available on the Rodeo Grounds. Information, either Roy 250.752.3636 or Bruce 250.586.3743
